I went here for kitesurfing lessons. Everything was very well organised by Gabriel and my instructor, Mario, was fantastic calm, patient and very encouraging. I don’t speak Spanish, but they were able to communicate everything really clearly in English. I had three lessons over the space of a week and made great progress. The atmosphere of the school and bar/restaurant was very relaxed and friendly. The location is great for learning as the water is shallow and calm, which meant Mario could be nearby to give instruction/feedback as necessary. The wind was consistent, rather than gusty as it was in other places I have been kiting. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone!

We visited Spinoza bar in April, 4 of us asked for four small beers as we were going out that night didn’t want too much before a meal in the town centre when the bill came we were charged for medium beers we disputed the bill, but was told we had to pay, so we did. A couple of us went to the toilet to find urine on the floor, and the toilet seat was broke hanging off, it’s a pity no one there knows what a small bear is to a medium beer, but have to pay the price of what they say. They have enough staff hanging around the bar laughing and joking they should be doing toilet checks.

We’ve visited before and returned last week. A lot of places are closed on a Sunday evening but Spinosa is open. We love to sit and watch kite surfers whilst we are there. We had tapas dishes which were tasty. The food has always been good. Nothing amazing but good solid menu. Not the cheapest but being right on the prom gives you plenty of people watching opportunities to while away the time. Free easy street parking nearby an added bonus. Am sure we’ll be back next time we’re in the area.

Nothing a refurbishment wouldn’t cure. Dirty floors, wobbly tables levelled with dirty serviettes. Oh, and hire staff that offer service with a smile rather than the surly waiter we had to endure. Would hate to look at the areas we can’t see, kitchen etc. just not a clean place. Certainly not the venue it used to be.
