I visited today 29.8.21 the sports pub for a Sunday carvery with my wife and two children and it was absolutely amazing. we all enjoyed it. we've never been in this pub before when they cooked like at home, delicious, tasty eating I recommend the sports pub. the sportsman is amazing, the personal is amazing, the price is amazing with a lot of parking. the prospects are amazing. I gave it 5 starts because that's the limit here when it deserves 100 stars. please go and have a carvery at the sportsman, they will not be disappointed
we often visit the sportsman. always a friendly greeting from the staff, and the carving on Sunday is absolutely spot on. a great place to have a pint outside with warmer weather, with amazing views. one of the best pubs of sheffields, and I should know how I was most of them.
absolute jewel of a pub, cordial greeting from all staff, they are all so friendly. eating is amazing, everything cooked to home, Sunday carvery is the best to far! definitely worth a visit, highly recommended!
Found this little gem by chance, whilst driving home on a Sunday afternoon. Friendly staff and the foods amazing. We had carvery on our first visit and we've been back every Sunday since.
