Spring House Tavern

Overall not bad. We got three starters to share between two people. The flatbread with crab was very good, the 4Bs (beets, bacon, brussel and blue cheese) was excellent. Finally the bacon-wrapped scallops were mediocre. They were dry and really needed a dipping sauce of some sort. I'm being a bit picky here, but no lemon in the water. Service was okay. Looked like one person was covering all the tables in that room. We'll go back at some point and give it a second chance on some entrees. Definitely get the 4B's though!

This was our second visit to Springhouse Tavern. My first time I had a crab cake and loved it, so ordered it again. It was mostly lump crab but this time it seems it was more fin meat with some shells in it. It was seasoned and cooked nicely however. My husband loved his duck. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating. We will be back.

Pleasant dinner with good friends, convenient meeting place, attractive historic setting. We shared the wonderful baked brie and all enjoyed our chosen entrees. My beef short-ribs tender and tasty, but layer of fat excessive. Not our first meal, will not be our last.

This was our 1st visit for a quick family dinner. Although we've lived in the area for over a decade, we had never dined here. The food was excellent, and the service was great (Ann Marie too great care of us)

The server was fantastic and the prime rib was top-notch.
