This was our second trip and we usually love every cupcake that we 've tried. This time though, I thought I would try the sugar free red velvet cupcake. It 's easy enough to do a rich chocolate cupcake, but to make a sugar free red velvet one taste great is much more of a challenge. I 'm happy to say that these were moist and delicious. The only reason I haven 't given it a higher rating is because of the S on the top. I don 't know what they are thinking with this. If I had to guess, I 'd say it 's hard plastic. I 've always believed that if something is served as an ingredient or part of a food presentation, then it 's edible. This definitely isn 't and it concerns me to think that it migh...
I drove about 30 minutes from Virginia to visit this place, as I’m familiar with Sprinkles from Atlanta, where it used to be located in Lenox Mall. I also had a cupcake from the Sprinkles machines at the Las Vegas Airport, so I was definitely craving more. This location in Georgetown is fantastic since there’s minimal interaction, but Joel was still incredibly friendly and welcoming. The cupcakes were light and delicious, with flavors like sprinkles, strawberry, banana, and chocolate marshmallow. The strawberry flavor was a bit odd for me as I didn’t taste any strawberry, but overall, they were all really tasty. I’ll definitely be back!
This was a definite surprise! As I was shopping in Georgetown I stumbled upon this cupcake shop! I stoped In to get a post valentine's gift! I ordered a classic red velvet cupcake. These are the regular sized cupcake! The store has a self service iPad for ordering! There is a staff member that was super helpful and friendly in answering questions. There is a table inside the shop for dessert dining! Now for the cupcake! It was moist and delicious! The size was perfect for two to share and try! (However, we could have easily taken down an entire one solo! The cupcake was great! I look forward to trying different flavors!
I didn't think we'd end up at this place during our quick weekend trip to DC. I wasn't expecting much, especially since they had run out of most flavors by the time we got there in the evening, but I have to say, it turned out to be one of the best cupcakes I've ever had. I practically inhaled it! The cupcake was incredibly moist, and the balance between cake and frosting was just perfect. It wasn’t overly sweet, which really hit the spot. The hype is definitely justified, and the shop itself is absolutely charming! Book a table now
Cute shop, nice staff, but the cupcakes are nothing special at all. We got the dark chocolate cupcakes and I hate to say that but I ate better cupcakes made out of a box.This was for my birthday and it was highly disappointing particularly at this price point.Will not go back and I don’t recommend it.
This cupcake shop is nice because you can go and buy immediately what you want without placing an on-site. The quality of their cupcakes is quite decent; although I would not say It was all extraordinary. A big plus on this shop is that they wear gluten-free, vegan and sugar-free pastries!
We finally made it to the popular gem in Georgetown...Sprinkles Cupcakes. It was a tough choice, but we decided on the Pumpkin, Vanilla, Dark Chocolate, and Red Velvet. The cupcakes were light, fluffy, and moist, and the frostings weren't too sweet. Delicious!
The cupcake selection is stunning, featuring a beautiful variety. The cake itself is incredibly moist, but I found the cream toppings a bit too sweet for my taste, even though I went with dark chocolate. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Book a table now
I can see why the place was empty. The top of the cupcake was stiff and stale. For 5 bucks per cupcake they should be exquisite. These were subpar to say the least. I’m glad I didn’t tip.
