This restaurant on the main street of Mortdale serves lovely, fresh affordable food. The decor is thoughtful, with an obvious effort to impress with lovely linens on the tables accompanied with matching cutlery. The service is friendly and efficient. Our BYO wine is poured quickly...then put into an ice bucket tick. Our crying tiger entree was excellent, our money bags were delicious and a stand out was our duck dish with vegetables. Really you get very good food at an exceptional price point something to remember. This is a local restaurant that does great food, affordably in a nice environment.
After passing by this restaurant many times, we finally decided to give it a try. It's a great spot for a romantic date night. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the food because my hungry companion couldn't wait lol. But I really enjoyed the unique style of plates they used, which gave the place an authentic and pretty touch. The prices are a bit on the high side, especially for Thai food. I wasn't a fan of the satay chicken skewers, but the massaman curry was decent, although a bit chewy.
Great thai food, but we are a bit spoilt in sydney, so I have to say there is always one better. But...this is BYO. The service is great!! It's nice and relaxing inside and after eating there about 20 times I would say it is...very consistently good in these things. I would like to see some more unique dishes added like Yellow curry soup koh soi and so on. We love the stuffed chicken wings and the mussaman curry.

the food was delicious, but the waiting period was too long. I ordered take-away through menu log and was told that it takes 40 minutes, so I order the restaurant and asked if she could make it faster, what she said she would try. now. look at them 55 minutes to prepare it so that I spent a long time at the place waiting for the food. the personal was very nice, but not very helpful.
We have eaten in and had take away food from Sri Arun. It's always on time and a yummy family favorite! The staff are always welcoming and the restaurant clear and well looked after. We especially love the massaman curry.
I came here for the lunch special after a 12 month gap. The food was still the same average. I ordered the satay chicken stir fry. The price is good and it's a reasonable size. But I've had better elsewhere.
I always choose this Thai restaurant as my local favorite. The meals are consistently enjoyable and, in my opinion, it's one of the best in the area. I highly recommend the sizzling satay chicken special!
