Ordered the bacon cheeseburger with onion rings, and the chicken fingers and fries.Ordering was slightly confusing and unclear. When I ordered my burger, I was asked if I wanted a side. As the burger was $15, I was under the impression that the side was included in that price. This is not the case. I come to this restaurant on lunches. I work in the area and have limited time. I will place orders for pick up on skip and when I get to the restaurant my food is always ready as promised! I even showed up way early today and they were able to work on my order and have it ready super quickly!The service has always been great, with smiling faces and laughter behind the till filling the small restaurant.My food has always been hot and delicious and today I decided to try a new item to me; garlic fries! It's been awhile since I made my way over to my favorite burger joint in the city! Let's just say, St.James Burger does not disappoint! I ordered the Marvelous Mushroom Mozzarella Burger Cinnamon Salt. Fries and a vanilla milkshake. The food was hot, fresh, delicious and portions as I remember. These guys have remained consistent regardless of rising food costs where so many others have increased prices and scaled back portions. The only negative about my visit was I couldn't finish my meal!! Definitely worth the drive! If you haven't been you need to go check them out. Yum! ?

Now that Mrs. Mikes is closed in St. Boniface, I was looking for a place that might live up to my high expectations. Look no further than St. James Burger and Chips. It lives up to the hype, and the fries and chili are spot on. Had the traditional 'fat boy ' and was not disappointed. Top quality all around. The rain squall that came through dampened our spirits, but not our resolve, as we took our food into the back hatch of our vehicles to finish up. ?
I randomly decided to try this restaurant while waiting for someone, and I'm really glad I did! The mushroom burger was delicious and quite large, and the fries were plentiful. The only downside was that it was a bit tricky eating outside with all the wasps buzzing around, but that’s just part of dining outdoors. Overall, a great experience!
They put a smash burger on my regular burger order so it was a quarter of the size of the menu burger and put sooooo much cinnamon salt on the fries they were inedible. Stone cold and hard as a rock. So for the low price of $20 plus tax I got a 1/4 of a burger and no edible fries at all. Total rip off.
St. James Burgers consistently delivers a great experience. We absolutely love the cinnamon fries, and our burgers have been excellent every time we've visited. The staff is always friendly and attentive. We highly recommend it!
