A couple of months ago, I got a most-exciting tweet from Sunny In London informing me that I had won a competition she ran in conjunction with Zomato. And the prize? A 24 Karat Gold Afternoon Tea at the luxurious St James Court Taj Hotel. And so after years of believing I’d eventually win a competition – I did! The staff gave proactive, helpful suggestions and showed a professionalism and courtesy that impressed me. 24 Karat class was apparent throughout the afternoon both metaphorically with this service and literally, with elegant gold leaf sprinkled with sophistication across the delicacies served. It was hard selecting a tea from their vast array of white, black and green teas, as all so...

I enjoyed my experience at St. James' Court, a Taj Group hotel that exudes old-fashioned luxury. There was a real pianist playing, and I appreciated that there were no young people swarming around with iPads. I was invited to review the "Jungle Book Culinary Experience" at St. James' Court and wasn't sure what to expect. The hotel described it as a fusion of Indian and Christmas cuisine inspired by traditional dishes from India, with quirky dressings inspired by characters from the Jungle Book. The menu featured dishes like Mowgli's sweet biryani and Shere Khan's lamb rogan josh, prepared by some of London's top Indian chefs. The food was delicious, from the starters to the desserts. The the...

honored by a golden flag we entered the charming courtyard, which followed 7 restaurants near the hotel. the huge cherub fountain in the midst meeting, it leaves a feeling of calm, surrounded by the vibrant colors of plants. for this short moment I took the time to soak in the beautiful environment when it went to the restaurant st james courtyard to enjoy the afternoon. st james court hotel takes tee seriously, even offers the experience 24-Kat gold champagne tee when they have pleasure. the royal afternoon tea consists of fingersandwichsen that they can have either a filling or a mixture. that was the favorite of my afternoon tea experience, delicious filling. recipe queen drop scene of th...

The Taj Hotel has joined the trend of offering unique variations of traditional afternoon tea. In addition to the typical sandwiches, scones, and cakes, they serve a 24 karat gold afternoon tea where the tea is adorned with decadent gold leaf. This special twist sets them apart from other restaurants that offer traditional afternoon tea options. While they do not include jewelry with every order, the luxurious touch of gold adds an extra level of indulgence to the experience. Book a table now

The other night, a few of my friends and I enjoyed a childhood classic - The Jungle Book - during a luxurious private dining experience at St James Court. The setting was outdoors, on a terrace with a stunning view of the fountain in the center of the picturesque Hofes des Hotels, surrounded by red brickworks reminiscent of scenes from Shakespeare's plays.

With it’s famous stunning Shakespearean courtyard and Victorian masterpieces you can easily be fooled to being in a completely different country other than London. The distinctive luxury Taj hotel at St James Court yard between Buckingham Palace and the House of Parliament makes an obvious choice to enjoy some afternoon tea.

Winding through the corridors and buildings of St James’s Court Hotel, I wondered if we would ever discover the elusive Kona. Eventually, after walking through the pretty outdoor courtyard, we entered a small understated restaurant that gave off an air of elegance.
