We have visited this restaurant on a few occasions in the last year. Recently we stopped in for their 1/2 price wing night. Possibly it wasn't the best night to go. Our wings came out fairly quickly and looked great. First bite was a bit unappetizing, as the meat was rubbery and then I noticed the blood running from the wing. These were not just a bit pink, but actually **** juices coming from it. I cut into a second one and the same thing. My Husband's wings were the same. The waitress took our wings away and apologized profusely and the Manager delivered the new order himself, offering his apology as well. I have been to this restaurant many times, on dates and with family, and each time the food was delicious and service was friendly and fast. The chicken and waffle sandwich is my favourite meal in Kingston! Kids love the kids meals, and their fruit smoothie is yum! Its our go to restaurant. Only downside, always packed at dinner time. It is located right beside an arena, so often entire teams come in. Despite this, the host always works fast to find us seating! Longest I have waited is 20 min.
Normally I live a sports bar as I can watch sports and have a snack and beverage. I am sitting here now and have waited twenty minutes to have my table cleared. I have waited 15 minutes for a drink. Servers have walked by me as I'm in the bar section and my bartender is spending more time with the guys at the bar than checking the tables. I am on my own and am a great tipper. Not today. Even the flies are landing. Not impressed. Won't be back. Sorry, but this was a poor experience.
We had a meeting on a Saturday, the place was busy but service was great , Many large well placed tv's for the ball game that was on and several other sports . The Algonquin turkey salad was enough for 2 meals for my wife and the turkey club and side salad was just right for me. Our Associate had a salad also that was great but I can't remember what it was.
