On 14 June 2017 the Stadtwaldhaus was reopened as a restaurant, café with a great beer garden after four years of interruption. And it has become beautiful. Completely renovated. Interior beautiful wooden tables and a pleasant environment. It's Friday and we've reserved. That's good, because with time the place felt like watching. The service was very fast, maybe a little too fast, because we hardly had any place we were asked for the drink...

the food was delicious, the service was very friendly. Overall, the price level is slightly elevated.The thick star withdrawal because you can only pay cash or with the German ec card (no maestro, no credit cards are accepted). in such a thing you wonder if you missed the step into today's decades. if you only drink a beer out there okay, that would be in order. but more than people.
There were 3 of us. We found the restaurant on google. It is nicely situated but it is surely packed during summer. The food and wine were to the top. We loved the atmosphere.
