Had a lovely date with my girlfriend. Usually we sit outside but a heatwave changed our plans. The dining room was lovely—beautiful art work and great music. It was nice and quiet despite there being a few larger parties dining at the same time. Dinner started with “a gift from chef Ricky.” It was a tempora dumpling with some sort of fish (I can’t remember what was inside) with a beautiful pesto made from ingredients from a local farm. From there we had the app special which was stuffed zucchini flowers. We also had the made to order mozzarella with fresh jersey tomatoes from a local farm. Phenomenal! We were married ant Stage Left and we decided to go back last night. I made a reservation and said it was our 3rd anniversary, they not only sat us in the same spot we sat in our wedding night but they made customized menus for us. I cried the entire dinner. The attention to detail, was unlike ann experience we have had before. Almost every staff member congratulated us and we even had some that were there from our wedding. The food is out of this world, The burger has been voted the best in NJ for years. Just go.I
The chicken sandwich was prepared without cheese and was particularly dry. I checked the order and definitely asked for cheese. The charred asparagus was an unnatural black as if it was sprayed with food coloring. It was inedible and I was worried it was carcinogenic. The tomatoes were also inedible--sure, they are out of season, but then dont serve them. The romaine in the caesar salad was wilted. Why spend $75 for a burger and a chicken sandwich if its subpar? Delivery was quick.
Absolutely amazing!!!! Every single water glass was constantly refilled. The servers were both friendly and very knowledgeable. The special Cowboy steak cooked on Himalayan salt was absolutely delicious! The black truffle spaghetti was outstanding and should definitely be a regular item on the menu. And the chocolate cake was definitely worth waiting for.

Stage Left is one of my favorite local restaurants. I'm never disappointed. They have the best burgers anywhere. The other people I was with were also pleased with their dinner choices. Our server was friendly (and patient as we selected our beverages). It is a fairly expensive restaurant but well worth it.
I have tried everything at this restaurant over the years and it has always been consistently excellent. The dishes are presented beautifully and the owners take the time to visit each table to ensure that everything is perfect.
The ceasar salad stuffed clams were excellent, and the filet mignon trio was perfect cooked also excellent, the server mgr, and also asst. 's were all impeccable in their service, would definitely return!
The food was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. We had a great experience all around. The bartender even crafted a special bourbon cocktail to celebrate my wife's birthday!

Good food. Service a little slow. Very large menu because it is attached to the sister restaurant next door where you can get Italian dishes.
