Lovely evening. Luis was our main server. He was delightful and extremely professional. We tried the calamari tender crunchy bites of calamari and zucchini and lemons and jalapeño with a good chipotle aioli. Husband had oxtail and I ordered the heirloom tomato and avocado salad with shrimp. Both as described and delicious. Toasty bread and butter went well. Had a delicious cocktail as well. Dessert we tried gelato and delicious fresh churros with caramel and chocolate sauces. Yum yum yum. Good fresh coffee. Overall a fantastic neighborhood gem. With one nice glass of wine and one cocktail dinner was $150 before tip. We will definitely be back.
The food was almost inedible. My pork was rare and when it came back cooked the second time, it was so fatty, I couldn’t eat it. I can’t remember Fundido appetizer was terrible with odd mushrooms that tasted like they were out of a can. Owner was very nice but unfortunately we won’t be back.
Their home made fettuccini with blackened salmon is my favorite meal at this restaurant and possibly in all of San Carlos.
