Had an event with friends and we stopped here for a bite to eat first. We had dinner. You order from the counter, then you have a seat, and then food is brought out to you. The people. The servers are very attentive and come back to see if anything is needed and to make sure everything is ok. The space is decorated nicely and is very clean. The food was fresh and prepared quickly. We had no complaints. I'd be back again to try other things on the menu. There's a water station set up with plain water, ice, water infused with cucumber, and then water infused with mint and lemon. It was a nice touch and very refreshing!
I love Standard Market's Seeded Rye Bread! It is one of the best rye breads to be found anywhere in the west suburbs. Unfortunately the last two loaves I bought are so very , very salty? I do bake bread myself (not as good as Standard Market's) I am aware of the role of salt, sugar etc. and their proportions, so why this extremely salty version ?
Who would think going to a grocery store for breakfast would be a thing but make the trip to Westmont.Blueberry Pancakes and the Sonora Omelette were well prepared and enjoyed. Flavor water bar is a great alternative to soft drinks. Food came out quickly, hot and fresh.After, you have to do some grocery shopping.
If you haven't been to standard markets taco grill off the back parking lot you must try it. Daily specials and great salsa bar too. The Thursday mega order of nachos grande style is enough for 1 people and delicious!!!!!!! Under 9. 00

Great restaurant with a twist on standard fair. Wait staff is awesome, food is delicious. After you're done eating, take some time and browse around the market. Hard to leave without buying some of the best food items available.
Very disappointed that they took the Power Crunch salad and the Ahi Tuna sandwich off the menu. Will not come back until they are back on the menu :
My beloved VGBG (veggie burger) has been removed from the menu. The alternative (on the new menu) is a mushroom smothered in cheese on a bun.
Very nice staff, I ordered a salad and it had too much Kale to my liking, they gave me another with no questions asked.
