A staple of the neighborhood. Pizza bagels, breakfast sandwiches, lox, parfaits and salads. I've been going here for 29 years. The quality is still as good as it was back then. They have local art hung up and usually play easy new country music. Just stopped here to get a bagel and smoothies; rarely do you see a place providing the two. We got the California and added sliced turkey, on a Challah bagel…it was delicious! We also got a blueberry cheese danish and a Go Green smoothie for the road and that added a nice touch, my tastebuds were singing! Friendly service, I can truly say this is was a great choice during my travels!
Edit: the proprietor treated their employees poorly during the pandemic. Even that delicious muffaleta won't entice me back. Original: We only just discovered Star Bagel and we absolutely love it! This is my favorite spot in Nashville to get a sandwich. The quality is great and they're served up quick. They also have great smoothies and I have heard great things about their fruit tea. Very reasonably priced for the quality and a must-try for sandwich lovers like me.

I tried just about everything on the menu, and its now hard for me to decide what I want because I want it all. They have the only coffee I crave. I'm also grateful that despite being in the heart of Sylvan Park, their prices stay reasonable.
