The server asked for my name, which is only four letters and very easy to remember. I gave it to him and waited, but unfortunately he didn't listen well. About twelve people came and went with their drinks, so I asked if he had my drink and what name he put on it. The server replied that someone probably took mine by mistake and then called me a completely different name. It was just confusing. I suggest double-checking with the customer before writing down their order to avoid these mistakes.
The location of this Starbucks is great. The atmosphere and people are what really counts here. If you are a coffee connoisseur, then skip. None of their coffees are good. They are either too bitter or acidic or over roasted. If you like their other engineered drinks with sweetners and flavors, then it's a good place to get a sweet fix. The portions in general keep getting smaller and smaller.
The Starbucks in Sierra Madre is quite small and the only one in the area. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and ordered a Flat White coffee and a chocolate croissant. The staff, two young women, were friendly, skilled, and courteous. The indoor seating was limited, but there were outdoor seats available. Parking was also very limited. Overall, it's an average Starbucks location.
I ordered a bagel, a caramel macchiato, and an oat milk latte. The cashier appeared slightly irritable, but the order was prepared promptly. The line also grew quickly during my visit. This place is ideal for a quick bite or if you're not too picky, but there are many local coffee shops nearby that I would recommend more highly. Book a table now
The food and drinks are quite good. The service is outstanding, and the staff are generally very helpful. It's a small establishment, but when it's not too crowded, it’s a pleasant place to enjoy a meal.
Great local shop. Employees are very friendly and personable. Definitely a small town coffee shop vibe. They know my order, always greet me by name. Small things but nice in a busy, impersonal world.
Great place to grab a quick bite or sit down and work for a while. Ordering ahead is highly recommended, the line can get very long.
