The staff at Safeway in Roseville off Cirby and Sunrise are amazing. I stopped by to check out some flowers and my son brought with him a small ball of aluminum foil. I was looking at prices and deciding what I should do for a future wedding event. My son loses his aluminum foil ball that he started working on at school and was trying to make it as big as a basketball. It was too high for us to retrieve. My son, who is 11 and in junior high, began to panic and cry because his teacher had promised to make him cookies if he could turn the ball into a basketball-sized one. He was very upset over this seemingly small loss. That's when Tony and Kristen from the flower department came to our aid. Tony did a wonderful job of calming my son, reassuring him that everything would be alright and that they would help us.

This afternoon, my husband visited the Safeway at Sunrise and Cirby. Around 2:00 PM, it was announced that the computer system had gone down, meaning all transactions had to be made in cash. He was already in line with his groceries when he realized he only had $215.00 in his wallet, but his total came to $218.38. Monica, the cashier, generously opened her purse and contributed $3.38 to help him complete the payment. Safeway should take pride in having employees like Monica. My husband extends his heartfelt thanks to you, Monica. We’ll certainly pay it forward. Great job to Safeway for hiring such wonderful people!
I received my coffee without the soymilk that I paid extra for. When I asked them to add it, they questioned why I wanted it. What kind of question is that? Just give me what I paid for!
