I have been going to this starbucks nearly every morning before work for 3 weeks now, and have NEVER seen initiative to serve the customer. I waited nearly 15 minutes (when it was not busy) for a mobile order, only for them to give me incredible attitude for asking if my drink was ready. another time, i saw my drink was ready and just sitting there; the staff was talking, and not even pushing orders through. then when i asked for that drink, a woman got so offended that i asked, she nearly yelled have a good day in a very snooty tone. Again, i have NEVER experienced such snobbery at any starbucks in the world.
Doesn't Highland Park have a vigilant health department ? ....I was sitting in this Starbucks, a woman walked in with not one but two dogs, one dog was burying his nose in snack displays, put his front legs on counter and was putting his nose everywhere, and the self centered woman did nothing to try to stop him, neither did the staff. So, if you choose to come here, keep in mind there may be dog hair and fluids in your food, snack, coffee cup, etc. DISGUSTING !
Friendly people and a very elegant (as expected) location. Easy parking and lots of great seating options! Plenty of stuffed chairs. Downside was when I visited the AC must have been downbecause it was sweating hot in back side of the store. Not what I’d expect for the area, and especially not on a 107 degree day. The main seating area was cool but where the majority of the seats are was a furnace. I ended up sitting in my car. Service: Take out
