ok, where to begin... Yesterday I bought some fish there, it was good, I was looking forward to leave a stellar review for this place. Today I came back to get a half pounder and fries, the menu, which is displayed outside clearly says: without a chips, with chips. Owner asks me for I don't mind extra (obviously), I was ready to order but then he insults me saying in very unpleasant manner- you are blind! It says I am saying softly It says not I am not blind He produces another menu from behind the counter and shows it to me. Than menu of his clearly says as well At this point he was cussing me, shouting on me, insultin me, closing his window and telling me to get out! Way to treat paying Cu...
Okay, where should I start? yesterday I bought some fish there, it was good, I was curious to leave a star review for this place. today I came back to get half feathered and pommes, the menu that appears out clearly says: £3.00 without chips, £4.50 with chips. the owner asks me for £4.99 I don't make me out of £0.5 extra (occasionally), I was ready to order, but then he insults me in very unpleasant wise to say - you're blind! it says £4.99 I say soft it says £4,50 not £4,99, I am not blind it produces another menu from behind the counter and shows it to me. your menu clearly says £4,50 and at this point he was worried me, cried on me, insulting...read more
I who live here and my friends who came from dublin decided to have a hamburger, and we stopped at starburge and it was the best experience we had, the eating is simply delicious and the best, the service is exceptional, the best service we ever had in london. we were amazed how agile, polite and cautious is the owner of the place, yes, the owner himself, who served people and was the best service we ever had. cordial desire for so much sympathy, education and for tasty eating. I'm coming back in a definitiw!
Stopped in London for the weekend. If you are after a good place to eat, on a budget,this is the place to go. Can't recommend it more. Service was fantastic. Made me an all day breakfast even though it was later than his normal time and my wife burger and chips. Food was fantastic!! Even had apple pie after,which was fantastic. Will definitely visit again if I'm down in london Book a table now
I and my family know the owner mehmet for more than 30 years. we moved out of battersea, but go out of our way to break back and say hello. the same fantastic service and engagement for the best service for its customers was always its top priority.
I love this place. It's cheerful, cozy and clean. The service is fast and friendly. The food tastes great with lots of choice and very generous portions. Definitely a place to come regularly.
