Went for advertised brunch, got there the dj was blaring his audio..was supposed to be New Orleans jazz... got there at pm waiting for friends... had drinks was told no buffet and handed menus.. min later the staff told me kitchen was going to close at Decided to leave.. too loud.. no buffet.Tried to pay bill and barkeep couldn’t find a it staff.Never againWe had wounderful experience in past. In fact our daughter had wedding rehearsal dinner there was great.. what happened
Chef Pope is AMAZING!! The menu is perfect by keeping it small and there were plenty of choices. The frogmore chowder was creamy and delicious topped with a perfectly seared scallop. I adored the preserved duck salad! The apple gave it the right amount of sweet with savory. My Ribeye was one of the best I 've had in Charleston. PERFECTLY seasoned and cooked to Medium Rare. And the desserts were so good we had to order all three(for the two of us) our server was busy but
Such an awesome experience! The staff were super warm and welcoming the entire visit. The octopus was surprisingly tender and some of the best we've had. The apple salad was very well balanced with the goat cheese and fruits, and so refreshing. The flank steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned beautifully. The goat cheese mashed potatoes were so tasty and creamy, but not overpowering. Definitely one of my favorites! The cheesecake was SOOO creamy and delicious. The
I would like to say that I had 2 big parties there for my b-day past few yrs and another big one last week Thursday evening! Stars were always astonishing to me in so many ways, tailored to my needs with such great parties from 20! No worries and the staff was amazing and did a phenomenal job at all parties! Thanks stars and management! You always do it right and recommend for future meetings! Oh, and the food is out of the chain! Thanks again! We had an explosion! Book a table now
We visited Stars twice while we were in town. Once for drinks on the rooftop and once for breakfast before we left. The rooftop atmosphere was great everyone was having a blast! Not too much of a dancing bar, but a good place to hang out for drinks. The restaurant downstairs is a little more expensive, but the staff does their best to get everyone seated and make sure they are taken care of!
Omg went on my birthday Jan6 an man I had a really really nice time. Got a birthday glass of champagne.. they were very accommodating even let a few of my family in when there were close as well as kitchen was still open well after closing... I want to think my girl Logan thx you I have a special an oysters Rockefeller an fried green tomatoes ???? ???? ???? so FREAKING GOOD ????
Visited Charleston last week and had a great dinner at Stars! Great seat right up in the front window. Our server was SUPER, thank you Sullivan! The food (blue crab cake, scallops) was delicious. Drinks were on the spot! Roof was not disappointed. Can't wait to go back!
The food was delicious, the only reason for 4 stars(pun intended) is that my risotto wasn't fully cooked. Though they took it off the check so it was appreciated. The service was awesome! Book a table now
The ribeye was amazing. The quail was just ok. We were all pleased with the food but it was a little pricey even for Charleston. If the price doesn’t scare you the food is good
