Was meeting up with a friend and I had to do some errands at Southgate. State Main was a first choice. I made a reservation and the table was ready when I arrived. I received immediate service and I wish I could remember our servers name. We were seated near the patio entrance. It was quiet and we didn’t compete with other noises. Service was prompt and efficient and personable and professional. The food was tasty and the kitchen definitely helped by making my dining partner’s butter chicken “extra spicy”. Restaurant was comfortable, ambience was conducive to catching up, service was excellent. At some point I may eat my way through the menu.
We have visited this restaurant multiple times in the past. The food is consistently delicious and the service is excellent. We prefer to sit in the bar area because there is more space. They have a great selection of draft beers. While the menu isn't extensive, it includes all the essential dishes one would expect from a high-end gastropub. I highly recommend this place.
Your hostess for the evening was amazing. Marlee was super friendly and a great smile. She made us feel welcomed and answered all our questions. Our server was also super friendly and was always checking on us. Never went with an empty drink. Great service !!!
Excellent waiter, good food. Food portion sizes are unreasonably large. Would appreciate a seniors menu or a lunch menu. Thank you.

The seating area was excessively dim, lacking proper lighting, and created an uncomfortable atmosphere.
