A few years ago, I relocated to New London, and Jake's has truly felt like home ever since. Whenever I need a satisfying meal to get me through the day, that's where I head. The place has a unique charm, and Jake and Nicole always treat their customers like family. They genuinely care about the quality of the food they serve. You can't go wrong with any of the staple dishes, especially the burgers (which are never frozen). They also frequently offer specials, with the Georgia hots and fish and grits being popular favorites. Plus, Jake makes his own hot sauces, which I highly recommend trying!
I love coming here. the waffels are so fluffy and I always get medium hard eggs and they are cooked to perfection. I've never been disappointed. jake personally comes out every time and says hello and asks how we do this and how our food is. between him and the friendly blonde lady in the front is the mood always warm and welcoming. this is so highly appreciated especially post covid, where there are so many places that have not kept with good food or service. it is nice to know that if I ever have a friendly face and a delicious warm meal I just need to come after jakes diner.
Coffee tasted slightly burnt at first but the refill from another pot was decent for Diner coffee. Service was attentive and polite. Greek omelette was quite good with the ratio of fillings. Cream cheese bagel was slightly chewy but that's what I love. Nice music volume with a cozy atmosphere, quite friendly place. We're also offered two homemade berry-based hot sauces, interesting addition. Home fries were mushier then most I've had; got smashed when trying to stab with the fork, shovel technique necessary.
This charming little diner is conveniently located right on the main street. The friendly service and steaming hot coffee were just what I needed to wake up after a late night. I ordered the hungry man plate, which came with a waffle. My eggs were cooked over easy instead of medium, but I didn’t mind at all because everything was absolutely delicious. The bacon was crispy, and the sausage had a delightful hint of maple flavor. Overall, I’d rate the food a perfect 5 out of 5!

Terrible service. We entered the restaurant and saw a sign that said to seat ourselves. After finding a table, no one came to assist us for 10 minutes. Once we received our coffee, we waited over 20 minutes for someone to take our order, but no one came. The staff appeared to be rushing around and attending to customers randomly, with no apparent system in place. We eventually decided to leave.
Nice gem for a decent meal at a reasonable price. It’s nothing fancy, but I was able to get an omelette with home fries and toast for $8.99. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. If you’re not looking for anything fancy and just want a decent bite to eat with good prices, this restaurant will suit you well.
Jake’s is a fantastic low key comfy breakfast place. Prices are very reasonable and food is delicious. Lots of free parking close by and quick in and out service.The musical jams from the 60’s and 70’s are that added bonus. Love it!
Always a wonderful experience when going here, Nicole and Jake are lovely people. The food is always on point as are the milkshakes! Definitely pop in and try something if you're in the area!Food: 5/5

Decent food. Felt like it took a long time to get food and server walked by several times with coffee pot and ignored requests for refill. I will give them another try and adjust review if warranted.
Hands down Jake’s has the best burger with the best price point in the area. Stop in for the diner atmosphere and come away with a wide grin on that beautiful face of yours!
