Station Cafe (the)

montague is a pretty little river town. the station cafe is located in the old railway station building. it is right next to the marina and there are many outside seats. the menu is simple and it is classic caffe to eat. the service was so friendly. the fish cakes were great as the cured tuna pack with koleslaw 10 support this local business and enjoy the local history and the flow!

my husband ordered nachos with chicken. order came out without chicken and very little toppings. when we complained our drinks were free. basically paid $10 for half a bag of nachos with about 1/4 cup in toppings total. the waitress was too busy sitting at a table talking and not cleaning tables. we felt we were interrupting her. we will not be back.

the station caffe is very nice on the shore of the small harbour of montague and offers a very nice outdoor terrace on a sunny day. eating is also very good. I recommend the mish maische von pei kartoffeln!

good eating and the whole menu can be made gluten so bubble pastry seafood item is my favorite
