We booked a table for breakfast at 10am as it was recommended we book because of how busy it gets. We arrived at 9:50am and our table was ready and was told there my be a little wait for food but wasn’t told how long. After being sat for about 15 minutes we have our drink order taken. Then after about 30 minutes of being here we had our food order taken. There are 5 tables in the deli and we were 1 of only 4 that were occupied. About 15 minutes after our order was taken the waitress came to us to confirm our order and it’s a good job she did as she what asked if we’re were having was completely not what was in our ticket. Sadly, our visit for brunch today was a let down for both food and service. 1pm visit, nothing wrote on specials board, when we asked, we were told they were being wrote out, staff verbally said what was on offer. We had to ask for the table menus. Ordered 1 tea, 1 coffee, staff forgot my tea. Ordered 2 x Fish finger butty with truffle fries, we were served cold(not even warm) fries, the bread was still frozen. Staff tried to say the bread was lightly toasted, we had to ask her to touch it as it was clearly still frozen! Staff explained the cold chips were cooked and left out as the person cooking the meals had other food to cook at the same time. There were 3 others in the restaurant only....
Have been before and it was good but they must have been having a really bad day today. Couple beside us got up and left after waiting an hour for a forgotten order and table behind us were missing a meal too. Our order was wrong but by this point I felt uncomfortable and jyst wanted to leave. Something need to improve or people won't come back which is a massive shame
1st visit to this little gem and won’t be the last! Brunch today was beautiful! Our meals were devoured before pic was taken. Cauliflower curry was divine. Friendly attentive staff, immaculately clean, great portions and price. I’ll be back..

Warm enough to sit outside. My friend had a lovely big bowl of porridge and I had a selection of toast with butter and marmalade. Staff were friendly and helpful. Closed on a Monday. Bathroom facilities, spotless.
Lovely little spot for breakfast. We had a full English and poached eggs with smoked salmon on toast. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Super friendly staff would definitely recommend! Lovely coffee too!
Recently attended for brunch. The staff were friendly however we had to keep asking for water, as they didn’t bring it after asking twice already. Eggs weren’t cooked, tasted average.
I attend here regularly with my young children. The staff are always extremely friendly and make the kids feel welcome. The coffee is excellent I would highly recommend this place.

Cracking neighbourhood bistro .. good value inventive food , pleasant friendly service. Reasonably priced drinks too.
