Celebrating a family wedding. Booking online via the website very straightforward. As we were travelling 4 hours I’d rang to see if we could book early checkin as mentioned on the website. I spoke to a very pleasant member of staff who said she would...get someone to call me back, never received the call. Luckily when we arrived earlier than the 3pm check in our rooms were ready so no delay in booking in. I would mention that all rooms are upstairs and there is no lift. One of our party has mobility issues and although he managed to go up the stairs in his own time I cannot recommend for disabled/mobility impaired guests. Pleasant rooms, we were in room 2. Lovely afternoon tea at Steeton Hall. Sat in the conservatory which was lovely as it was a sunny day, nicely furnished. Choice of sandwiches, lovely savoury treats (particularly enjoyed deep fried wedge of Brie) A super selection of desserts, fruit scone with jam and cream,...cream filled profiterole, Bakewell tart, all delicious. This is very good value compared to other afternoon teas I have tried, portions good and nicely presented. All staff were courteous and efficient. Can highly recommend
I had the absolute pleasure of being married at Steeton Hall hotel. I have booked evening meals, lunches, socialised with friends and watched sporting events on many occasions in the past here. They have great owners and staff that never fail to make me feel...welcome. Great atmosphere, great food, great staff and a lovely dose of light humour. I do not usually write reviews, however, I feel it is about time!!!... Brilliant lunch, thanks again, see you soon. Neil.
what a joy! I really have to praise the owner and the staff in steeton hall. they have gone beyond our expectations in every respect. we had a slight problem for which katie, the manager, made good and true changes. my sister, my mother and I had the most in the afternoon and it was absolutely beautiful. the food and the service were perfect. I would recommend a visit. thank you again
