this is a charming place to visit for some wein and eat. we visited on a weekday lunch, so it was not too busy, but enough people to create a nice atmosphere. most, if not all, the other customers were local, was a large group of people who seemed to have a birthday meal. our waitress was beautiful and could say that we try to find out each of the menu items so that she came by and explained what they were in English. eating is already cooked and heated for serving so that it came very quickly. we were both very happy with eating, it was traditional and delicious. the wine was also delicious. in total I loved the stone clasp heurigen; I am sure that in the summer months it is a great place t...
this family has been leading this place for several generations, and this is visible in every loving little detail. from decoration to service this place has its own character and preserves the charm of a typical wine restaurant with great food. separate sections. for smoker and non-smoking, a beautiful garden under trees or sitting in the sun. the ideal place to meet friends, cool out and recharge before going to the next attraction in the capital of Austria. located in the outskirts of town, they can decide who they want to return to the crowded heart of this city, or enjoy a walk near nature.
a new heurer for us, but it was the chosen place for a wake for a very dear friend. of course sad, but a wonderful opportunity to share memories of someone who is taken too early and so suddenly by us. literal an hour before the dear marty. turned 80. it was very happy that she had a big party last Saturday and had a family association on Sunday. rest in peace. the staff was wonderful and the catering great. many thanks. our thoughts and prayers go to martys immediate family. white
The Steinklammer Heurigen is one of the best kept secrets in Vienna. From the food to the wine, this place can't be beat. This family-run establishment is able to cater to a wide variety of audiences from around the world. I highly recommend stopping in...for a bite and purchasing a few bottles of the wine to take home.
