Our experience at Jack Stella’s/Stella’s Lounge was unfortunately disappointing. Although the beautiful location, and friendly staff, the food was just not worth the money. The pasta that we received was dry, undercooked and hardly had any sauce on it. For the amount of money we spent, we were disappointed with what we received. My family and I loved Stella’s Lounge last summer, and unfortunately this year’s experience was not at the same level.
The menu was somewhat limited, but the food we ordered was enjoyable. The espresso martini was a bit light; it could benefit from a fresh, strong shot of espresso and a touch of simple syrup. However, our server more than made up for the few shortcomings in the food. The location is lovely, and it was a real pleasure to have dinner out on the dock.
Reagan made our evening SO enjoyable! She is an excellent server with attention to detail and a genuine connection. Thanks for taking such good care of us on a special evening. Menu Suggestion: Serve the feta WARM with the olives. The dish is great as it is but warming the feta would be so delish!
Live music was new and too loud. Go there for the fun summer vibe but also to enjoy the lake in the evening. Background music would be okay during dinner but this dominated the space couldn’t have a conversation over the music. Book a table now
I always have a fantastic experience at Jack Stella’s! It’s a must-visit if you’re in Muskoka! The live music adds such a great atmosphere too!
You can’t beat the ambience here and the service is great. But the food was very subpar. I’ll definitely be back but maybe just for cocktails.
I don’t think there were enough servers on staff. We waited 30 mins for drinks and there were not enough lights on patio.
