I'm new to the Hudson Valley and spent some time to decide where I could order Italian food because I couldn't get pasta from my mind lol. I quickly found Stephano on Yelp and decided to give them an attempt. My father is from Italy, like the majority of my family, so naturally I am very special when it comes to Italian food. We had dinner reservations for 6pm last night. The atmosphere is casual, clean, and friendly. Simple wooden tables and chairs, with a good size bar in the dining room. They had seating outside under a tent as well. The waiter we had was friendly and didn't rush us. I really appreciate this on a Friday night. My friend and I enjoyed a three hour dinner. Each table gets dinner rolls and the balsamic dressing for the house salad was really good! I had the gnocchi which was tender and tasty. The food here is absolutely amazing. I ordered about 5 appetizers and they were all delicious. Then salads came before the main course. After all, I got my duck and then I was so full that I could hardly eat more. The portions are large and each dish is delicious. The staff is friendly and the service is great. Overall, I have no complaints at all.
From apps to tempting everything was absolutely delicious. The Calamari was perfectly cooked, very soft. Portions are big and there are still remains. The waiting staff is also extremely friendly and provides a pleasant culinary experience!
