A group of ten of us were in town for the soccer tournament, and everywhere was packed. We expected to wait for a very long time, but as long as all members of one's party were present, they got us on the wait list, and even with so many, we really only waited 10-15 minutes. The place was bustling with customers coming, going, and waiting in line. I was impressed that the host and the wait staff had so much chaos to deal with, but they maintained their professionalism and were clear and firm with communications, and efficiently worked together to get everyone taken care of. I ordered the California Eggs Benedict, and they were done perfectly to taste. The English muffins were lightly toasted...
Just had breakfast there for the first time in months. The corned beef hash was soured and inedible, this is the third time in a row I have had issues with the food but never to this degree. I used to go here quite often but the consistency has been suffering. Would recommend getting staff that can produce more consistant results.
I’ve SOOO enjoyed eating here on Sundays after church. It’s been fun for all of us to have some wonderful food, served by the kindest staff, and quickly (despite the crowds)! I don’t know how they get through all of those folks on Sundays but I have NO complaints. Keep up the great work to the entire staff.
Well I was definitely surprised with the quality of the food I had the huckleberry French toast it was delicious I will definitely be back just for that and next time I'll bring the whole family definitely worth a swing in

Will not take orders over the phone. However, you can come in and place your order and sit in the parking lot and wait. I really don’t understand the difference, it’s the same amount of work for them? Disappointing.
Steve's cafe is one of the best breakfast stops in Helena. Their food is consistently good, their service is always fast, friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is casual.
No better Eggs Benny in Helena. Getting a seat in a timely way can be a challenge, but, unlike most Helena breakfast spots, totally worth it once you get there.
Very good food and even better service. It's a tad expensive, but I guess everything is nowadays. Highly recommend.
