Food was mediocre. Got told I had to spend £5 to pay by card, was then told I could have a £4.80 meal for £5 (yes it's only 20p extra but not the point). The guy behind the counter who I'm assuming was the owner then decided to explain to me about the card machine charges like it was my problem. Probably about 95% of people pay by card these days so if the charges are that much of an issue tie them into the price of the food? Won't be visiting again.
Just finished work at an event nearby and popped in for some tea on the way home. I asked for some battered bits and they didn’t have any made but the guy there made some specially for us which was really nice. The food was honestly one of the nicest fish and chips over ever had and lovely thick curry sauce too. Would definitely recommend.
Sadly my experience this time was not great. Batter so hard, unable to eat the food, chips majority were the bottom scoops of the fryer. Doubting going again sadly. Total waste of my limited money.
Been here a few times with friends and hubby, I have to say never had a bad meal, very good value and the onion bhajee are the best in Telford (and round, as they should be Book a table now
Only place I know locally to get fresh roe must admit one of my all time favourite fish and chip suppers staff always welcoming and chatty
Sadly will not be visiting anymore. Large price increases, smaller portion and no card machine on my last visit equate to this decision.
