A group of 11 of us, including both adults and children, visited the Stock Dove after winning a local Facebook competition for 4 three-course meals. Booking was easy and straightforward, with prompt communication when we needed to make changes to the number of people. Upon arrival, our drink orders were taken quickly and we were informed of the specials options. We enjoyed the hash brown and chicken goujan starters, both of which were delicious. 9 of us with an age range of 1-65 had a delicious Sunday lunch here today. We had the traditional roast and the vegetarian options and all was hot and generous portions. Michelle and her team were friends and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended! Thank you for making a family reunion extra special.
Excellent Sunday roast which was hot and good sized portions. Staff were excellent too and nothing was too much trouble. Our grandchildren love going in The Stock Dove as does our Cockapoo. Advise booking first as it does get busy.
Went for after dinner drinks, service and prices good but very quiet tonight and a bit shabby looking needs a bit of new wallpaper and toilets need a bit of attention (toilet seats both very loose) but would definitely go again,

A lovely old-school boozer type-place without the supercilious bullying but with the humble banter associated intact — lovely pint of Guinness too — and almost everyone is up for a chat
Not really changed much, but now it seems to open till later. Some of the staff don't seem to be over enamored over the rules but they suit the customers. Best of luck shell
I was at the market with my sweet stall. The people were friendly and the staff was nice, despite the heavy rain. It was still a good day and everyone had a good laugh.
The food is always lovely and the new menu is fab! Well worth a visit. Great for kids so perfect for family occasions.
