Stone House 1891 - Table reservation

We ate at Stone House twice during our 5-day trip to Pelee Island. Both times the servers were friendly and welcoming. Service was very fast our first time, a little slower our second time, but they were significantly understaffed (like the rest of the world these days), and even the slower service was acceptable. Your outdoor seating area is dog-friendly. Her food got high traces of us - the Hummus apartment was delicious, the ketchup homemade, the grilled cheese was wonderful, the burger was delicious, and the salted caramel peanut butter and chocolate dessert was amazingly good. Overall, eating my favorite place on Pelee Island.

We had a great time at the Stone House. Because we had a large group, they allowed us to order in advance. When we arrived for our 5pm reservation, the tables were ready for us. Everyone got what they ordered in a timely manner. I have to say that the pesto salad dressing was the most amazing dressing I have ever had. I would have bought a gallon of it if I could have. My husband tried it and asked for some to put on his burger and dip his fries in (he can't have tomato, so ketchup is not an option). We will definitely Italy go back whenever we go to Pelee Island.

A somewhat more demanding facility on the island of Pelee. Great location and free space. Unique fire oven roasted pizza and its own beer offer. Service: Dine in Meal Type: Dinner Price per person: CA$30–40
