I have been looking forward to trying this place for months…maybe my expectations were too high. We ordered a Basil Pesto Grilled Cheese it was cold and the cheese was solid, the salad that accompanied the meal was fine but the dressing tasted like the package dressing from Kroger. The second item that we ordered was the BST, there was nothing in it, a few pieces of spinach and pre cooked bacon. I visited Stone House Kitchen today for a late mini lunch and had a wonderful experience. The cool air conditioning, immaculate ladies' restroom, tidy dining area, appealing decor, soft music, and attentive service all contributed to a great time. I was shopping alone in downtown Nacogdoches this afternoon and felt completely at ease sitting at a table in the restaurant. There are parallel parking spaces available along the streets in this area, which features charming old brick roads that are well-lit and clean. I particularly enjoyed my cold brown sugar espresso shake and a fresh, warm Heath bar—highly recommended!

Nice little breakfast lunch eatery. House coffee was sub par. Ordered the quiche and it was OK. It had been re heated in a microwave. Had Frittatas on the menu, but they are only available on the weekends. The broccoli cheese soup was good but a bit too salty for me.

Great biscuits and gravy and the spinach mushroom quiche was wonderful. It is a great hidden gem in the middle of Nacogdoches Brick Street district. A very intimate setting with old world atmosphere nestled in the big city of the piney woods.
