After searching online for a good cafe we decided on Stone's Throw. The cafe is a bit quirky and has a very relaxed vibe. The staff were super friendly and polite. I had the organic breakfast bowl which is exactly what I was craving on the day. Lots of tasty seeds, nuts, fruit and yoghurt in a big bowl. My partner had a breakfast buttie with bacon, which had great fresh fillings but it would have been easier to eat with 2 thick slices of toasted sourdough bread rather than the soft bun. The coffee was good, but if you like it strong let them know when you order. For quality food and a range of great healthy options, this little cafe has plenty to offer.
We visited for a family dinner and we were most impressed with the happy,smiling and friendly staff. We ordered numerous 'little bites' which we shared and the flavours were superb -, squid, prawns skewers, zucchini chips, tofu with eggplant, marinated snapper and then from their 'big bites' we ordered the beef rib which was absolutely superb.We sat outside in the eating area which is beautifully protected from any wind and was a great atmosphere.Would recommend to seek out this little treasure in Burleigh as it is certainly worth it.
This is a beautiful place for breakfast and looking at the menu the food looks delicious for lunch and dinner.Really different menu to a lot of the cafes around Burleigh, so it is worth the little diversion from James Street to visit this great place. The staff are so friendly and it is such a pleasure to eat here.Their menu offers quite a few GF and V options, especially their vegetarian pies.Do your self a favour and visit whilst in the Burleigh area.
Went with a large group which was fantastic as we could all order something different. Everyone was really pleased with what they ordered- just fantastically spiced and elevated and quirky additions that lifts their meals to well above average. Poke, Hoke and Bibimbap bowls were fantastic. Drinks were all diverse and fascinating- a cut above. Service is just right- warm and welcoming but not overbearing- and no intimidating hipsterism.

being a bit sick to death of the usual suspects at breakfast cafes, i was delighted to find an assortment of new ideas at this roadside cafe.The staff are friendly and accomodating, the food comes out fast and best of all you can expect some interesting menu items...give it a try
A very personal service. Lovely staff who really take pride in their work. I had the bacon and egg butty which was cooked and flavoured to perfection and the bun was SOFT! Not crusty and hard to eat.
Such a lovely experience here at Stones Throw. You get a really warm friendly local feel from the staff so it's a definite easy one to return to. Keep up the service and the decent coffee guys!
We had Braised beef and schnitzel burger for lunch and they were so delicious. Nicely designed, small place with great, healthy and fresh foods and staffs.

We work near Stones Throw and never tire of visiting for their lunches and healthy snacks. We especially love their veggie pies! Cant get enough!
