+ food. Yes, food is tasty. Big, even, huge portions.+ view. Especially when the water is high- time. You will wait for a table, you will wait for a waiter, you will wait for a meal. BUT, you'll receive drinks very quickly. - price. Yes,it is not cheap restaurant. BUT the view and a breath of the sea are worth it. And, as I said, portions are huge.As a conclusion: I would definitely recommend to visit. Exciting emotions and stirring memories are guaranteed.
The restaurant was packed inside, so we had to sit outside, but the sun came out and we were really warm and sheltered with the large glass panels of the terrace. Lovely to sit and listen to the sound of the sea and watch the tide coming in. We had matjes herrings with fried potato, potato soup with North Sea shrimps, a burger and curry wurst. Everyone happy with their food. A great location.
This restaurants view is probably one of the worlds most beautiful views a restaurant can have. But to run a good restaurant you need more than that. First of all we had to wait 20 minutes for a waiter or waitress. Unfortunately the didn't come to our table so we left. Second of all, how can you charge €18,50 for a buffel mozzarella with tomatoes? Kind of pricey!
The place is in a lovely location overlooking the beach and the sea. It is very hip and trendy. The food is tasty but it can take up to one hour or more to arrive when the place is busy. They are not set up to cope with the amount of people that overrun the place. The fish is very tasty and the drinks good. Book a table now
This review is only for service at this place. We tried to order for twenty minutes no one were interested to pickup our order. We cheered and everything... To bad. Unfortunately we had to leave this beautiful place.
The view and food is excellent. It was a cloudy day so we didn't have to wait for a table. The waitress was really nice. The restaurant is a bit expensive but still reasonable for the atmosphere and excellent food.
The food was very tasty. Despite being very busy on a warm sunny holiday the food arrived quickly. The Jever draft was super fresh and tasty. It was't cheap but reasonable for the quality and location on the beach
Situated on the beach we had to leave by 20:30 because tide was coming in! Great location, good menu at reasonable prices and a view to die for. As good as it gets. The food is worth waiting for. Book a table now
St. Peter Ording is my favorite beach in Germany. The sand is awesome and you can take nice walks and in the sommer it is a great place to swim. A lot of kite surfers are there :-)
