We spent some time with a friend in Kappeln and went to the Lobster twice. Both times we got excellent service, good food and enjoyed the view from the top deck. The staff was super friendly and all the dishes we had been excellent, waiting time... was very short of the time we had ordered. My partner had Plaice (Scholle Finkenwerder Art) in the first night and Cod Piccata in the second night, while I loved the Matjes variation so much I ordered it both nights. Our hosts enjoyed a pasture field fish pot and the matjes. The restaurant is so cozy that the first night they had to complicate us because we did not have time and they were closed. Restaurant has a friendly ambiance with comfortable seating inside or on the balcony. The menu is not frilly and offers plenty for the seafood seeking diner. My wife and I were both impressed with the quality of service, presentation and taste of our dishes. We agreed that it was a nice experience and great value for the price. If you have some room left you can share a delicious dessert too.
We have had an amazing dinner here. The evening was complimented by the best sunset I have ever seen. This restaurant is a must if you like good fish and a great service. Some people in previous posts have complained about friendliness of staff but I cannot confirm there to be q problem. Well done and keep up the good and lovely job.
