We came here after arriving by river from Bremen. This is very near to the drop off point for the boat and right next to the zoo. My wife was a little worried on entering as the restaurant was almost empty but it soon began to fill; I had said that we were a little early for lunch by German standards.My wife decided to try the Bremer Knipp, as this is a speciality of the region and I opted for the Strandhalle Burger. The restaurant is located close to my hotel, so I thought I would give it a try. I had a wonderful experience and the food was delicious! I ordered the special of the day, Penne Rigatte. Penne pasta with roasted chicken, cherry tomatoes and asparagus with a light cream sauce. It was fabulous, no room for dessert, but the selection looked amazing! I am in Bremerhaven for a few more days, I will definitely go back.
The food was good but the service was absolutely shocking! Every time we wanted something we would have to call over the service staff ( they would never check if we wanted anything) and then wait over twenty minutes plus for what ever we asked for, but when we asked for the bill the service was great and they even had the cheek to ask if they could keep the change! I will not be going there again!
Stopped in for lunch prior to going into the museum. Good selection for lunch with a great view of the water. We dined inside, although sun was out, wind was a little brisk for outside eating. Service was good, and what is to be expected at a German restaurant. Order your food and drinks, and leave you alone to enjoy.

Only a view stepps from town, in front of the river Weser. Its a restaurant with a clear view to the River Weser while eating. On Sunday there is a good Brunch for you and the family.So go there to enjoy this place with your family.
It was a very hot day when we visited, so all we had was some cake, ice cream, and beer. It was very busy, but still the service was pretty good. The food was all good, and the beer was very tasty
Spur of the moment decision to have dinner here. Nice view over river Weser. Thursday evening dinner buffet. Excellent Food, service a bit on the slow side.
I dinner an Sparrgus soup and a hamburguer. Both where super! But it took one hour from the soup to the ham with no reason. Nice place with good weather!
