Street of Asia has a wide variety of Asian and Asian-inspired food. The atmosphere is a bit like a dining hall, but it's busy during lunch and dinner which is always a good sign. I'm fond of the Laksa, the sate (anything) and the food is flavoursome without being too spicy or too bland. Street of Asia get it right. Prices are quite cheap and cheerful, and they do lunchtime sized plates for eat-in or take-away.

Attended the restaurant with a colleague whilst in Canberra for work. Ordered the Sze Chuan pork, Thai basil and the Hainan chicken with rice. Absolutely terrible. Hainan Chicken under cooked. Rice felt as it is had been microwaved on the plate. Sze Chuan was flavourless. The Thai basil was just Ok but not enough to get an extra star.

Wife's birthday and didn't want to go out but takeaway was the order. We had our usual Char Kway Teow with Peking chilli beef and lemon chicken which all were the best. Great flavours fresh well cooked and tasted great. We will keep going back as this is one of our favourite eat in and takeaway Asian restaurants.

We have been here many times but the meals and service maintain a very high standard. Even in the colder evenings this place is popular. If you are wanting to dine in the warmer times it would be wise to book. This may not be the best place for an intimate evening but it would be great for smaller parties. Book a table now

LOVED, LOVED, LOVED it!! We ordered the combination laksa (amazing), curry puffs (not your typical bland taste, but full of flavour), the other meals were so delicious we will DEFINITELY be back for more! So much better than the restaurants/takeaway in Lanyon or wanniassia (which we've always frequented)

The staff here are really friendly and the service is really quick. The meat in the laksa was incredibly tender and tasted fantastic. Only criticism was that there were less noodles than I would have liked.

Went for a relaxing lunch with some fellow laksa lovers and was not disappointed. Excellent service (I mean, really good) and the laksa was brilliant. We'll definitely be going back!

It used to be cheap, small but cheery vitnamese eatery. Now in a much bigger venue and lost a bit of its charm. Nevertheless I think it still has the best laksa and very good pho. Book a table now

We often eat lunch here for groups from work because it is always reliable for great food. My personal favourite is Char Kway Teow which (IMHO) is the best in Canberra.
