Strega Prime - Table reservation

A friend and I meet here, in between where we both live. The meal was lovely. We chose from the Boston Restaurant Week menu- for an appetizer and main course. We both ordered the tenderloin medium rare, which came out more as medium, but was very tender and flavorful. Fresh asparagus and mashed potatoes were served, both quite good. My appetizer was a perfectly sized and tasty Caesar salad, and my friend had the Wagyu carpaccio which she raved about. Last year the dessert was included, but not this year, however our lovely attentive (but not overly attentive) server brought a tiramisu to celebrate my birthday. We sat in a private room because wehad guests. The room was very nice. The waiter was ok..he served us fine but not much of a peronsality and he only checke on us once in a while. The wine stweard was very helpful. The waiter offered us popovers, but it felt like it was reluctantly..for these prices rolls should be a given. The lobster bisque was pretty good, more lobster would be good only got one piece. The steak was delicious and prefectly done to order for everyone. The sides are so pricey for the amount you get..really this stuff does not cost that much..it just feels like a money maker. The desserts were terrific.

Had to wait for water on fill up needed had to ask for bread for meatballs ordered and filets where questionable on medium pink in middle

Had a great time with my friends! Food was delicious and our waitress was very friendly and attentive.
