Things here are a cross between nostalgia and edgy. I found the staff friendly, and the waiter was clearly knowledgeable of the entire menu. The old EBCO factory/warehouse it occupies adds an interesting vibe.I sensed they want to market to a younger crowd. I 'm 50, and I 'm sure I was the oldest person in the place the entire time I was there. That said, I 'll take my parents and in-laws there sometime soon. The food was fantastic. They have a 'jackfruit taco ' that is incredible. I also enjoyed their take on gazpacho. It seems like everything on the menu finds a comfortable place between traditional and hipster that should work with a fairly wide audience.
It has been a while since I have been impressed with a new restaurant for me. My wife and I stopped in as everything on the menu looked like it would be good. As the Tapas all read so well, we went with six of them. This allowed for some fun and varied tastings. All dishes were fabulous forest mushrooms, chicken wings, fried cheese, bacon, beet salad and the stuffed zucchini (which was good but the least favorable from the set). We had the apple crepe as dessert just the right amount of sweet to round out a great dining experience. We will definitely be back for trying the large plate selections I highly recommend.
My Daughter's wedding was held here on Saturday. Everything was wonderful. We had the entire back venue, and were so worried about rain. No rain, and the outside ceremony was beautiful. the move to the bar flawless, and then to the reception again flawless. The bartenders were great and staff was very attentive, since I had to have them unlock the Bride's dressing room at least 3 times. Would recommend to anyone for a wedding. Use 400 E Rich St if you have an old GPS system
Strongwater is excellent!! Last night we visited with our friends for dinner. We tried the ricotta and bread—incredible! How can bread and cheese be so tasty! Three of us had the hot chicken sandwich (2 veggie and 1 chicken) all were excellent! Great spice level, tasty sauce, and hot! Catie is an excellent chef and GM! She ensures all the food is exciting and tasty! Our waitress, Lily, was awesome too! Thanks for a great dinner!!

Great atmosphere and ambience. We ate at the bar and the server was friendly and attentive. We ordered the (3) for $18 appetizers and the plates were small but filling. We had the zucchini, the hummus and the tomato salad. Zucchini and hummus were great the tomato salad was extremely spare on the bleu cheese and herbs it was in essence just a chopped up tomato. We split the flank steak which was good. The sauce was fabulous.
I celebrated my birthday at Strongwater with family and friends and had a wonderful experience! They were busy but made my table of 8 feel very well taken care of.
The service was excellent and the food was delicious. However, the noise level was often so loud that it was difficult to carry on a conversation.
The food was very tasty, but the portions were just far too small for the money.
