Strullenkrug - Table reservation

I stopped for a late lunch after a visit to Corvey Abbey and, due to a strict diet, only had a salad with chicken breast. It was a simple lunch, but very tasty, but the main reason that I decided to write a review is the exceptionally nice lady that served me with short blond hair. Very fast, very smiling, such a wonderful lady. I wish there was service like this in every restaurant!.

The traditional old restaurant Strulle in Höxter is very popular by residents of this beautiful small town in East Westfalia. Many generations took their meal and a beer in this cozy tavern. In all these years there was always good atmosphere, best meals and high quality drinks. We in Hoexter like to be there and guests are allways wecome.

I loved eating. As a vegetarian it is often difficult to find good meals in German restaurants, but that was exceptional. The salads are fresh and dressing and dive their secret to good cooking. Service can be a little slow though...

The food is very good, super recommended if you want German food, it is a good place. It has a parking lot in front of the car. The variety is very good.

Good standard restaurant. Lunch time buffet has reasonable choices. Beer garden is excellent with ample seating in a large area.
