Tried this after it opened at the square and it was delicious! Ordered the old school. Patty was juicy. Vegetables fresh and perfect amount. Bun wasn't dry. Well balanced and well seasoned. It was a big burger yet it wasn't overly messy. Totally worth the price. Freshly made but the wait wasn't too long. Service was really good too. The (I'm assuming) owner was training the young girl and was really professional but nice to her. Saw him chatting to some other customers as well. Super friendly and would definitely want to try some of the other burgers and food.
A friend suggested this restaurant to me when I mentioned I was really hungry. I decided to order the 'old skool' as recommended by the owner and I was pleasantly surprised by both the appearance and taste. It was truly amazing! I even played a funny prank on the boss and had him laughing when I went back for another one. I have tried burgers in America, but they do not even come close to the quality of Stumpys. Great job, guys!
Saw the reviews, decided to give it a try and ordered old school burger in a meal with caramel milkshake. Absolutely phenomenal! Beef burger and it's special sauce was very well balanced and fit together perfectly with the beetroot lettuce tomato and onion. 100% recommend! Beef patty was great and had good flavour. The fries also very fresh and crunchy. I will be back and will bring hungry backup hahaha
Burgers were delicious, especially the sauce, and the service was nice and friendly. Prices were very reasonable. Sweet potato fries and crinkle fries were nicely salted and a good portion size. Only fault was the wait time, when we were the only ones with an order, but apart from that, great experience!
