Been to this shop twice in recent months and both times have been bad for different reasons. First time, the bread I was given was really shrunken and pretty much rock hard, so clearly had been sitting around all day, NOT freshly made. The younger guy who served me just seemed like he really didn't want to be there and was not welcoming at all. Second time, I noticed there was a big crowd waiting inside and stupidly decided to still go in. There was a middle-aged woman who seemed to be on her first day, just took a REALLY long time to make the sub and was easily distracted, while a different younger guy was just running around all over the place doing bits here and there. I was there last Saturday night at about 7pm. The young lady there was very rude. Felt like I was being an inconvenience in trying to select my ingredients. She over toasted one of my orders. When she suddenly realised. She swore and took my bread out. Her other workmate looked at her in disbelief. He was more friendlier than her. She needs more training in customer service! If you don't like your job then go elsewhere.
I occasionally enjoy subway as it makes a great fresh lunch option or a quick dinner. I still have to try their breakfast menu, but I enjoy the tuna sub most and tend to get the same. this subway has very friendly staff and are very fast and efficient. inside seemed clean and they always wear gloves when the subs. it is also a super cheap option.
I have ordered online from Subway Runcorn about four times in the last two weeks. Each time, I've been greeted with friendly service.
