I frequently visit Subway when I'm working nearby, and I have to say, this location is in complete disarray. The older woman with dark hair who works the morning shift consistently makes the sandwiches in the wrong order, leading to a mess where everything gets piled in the center. I end up having to eat my sandwich like a taco! I understand that there have been some shortages due to the pandemic, but they have been out of various items for nearly a month now. She wraps the sandwiches so loosely that they fall apart immediately, even after I specifically ask for them to be double-wrapped tightly. Additionally, I'm pretty sure it's not standard practice to microwave the meat and then heat it...
The wait can be frustrating; if there's more than one person ahead of you, expect to be stuck in line for at least 10 minutes. If you're looking for a drink other than Fanta from the soda fountain, you're out of luck. There’s no sandwich of the day special, and the overall attitude from the staff is quite poor. I'm surprised this location is still allowed to operate under the Subway name.
I genuinely hope they remain permanently closed. The staff was rude, the place wasn't clean, and it was poorly stocked. This was the worst Subway I've ever visited, and Subway is my favorite fast food and sandwich spot. I've been to many locations across several states, so that's saying a lot.
The interior of this location was recently remodeled and the place is clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and fast with your orders. I would recommend stopping by if you'd like a sandwich. Fyi, a 6in black forest ham with chips and drink areabout $10.

Used to go here more often, now I go to the Hawaiian BBQ next to them. I may get a sandwich sometime but their bread is underwhelming. So many great bakeries in Oakland and Berkeley, better to pick up a fresh loaf and make my own sandwich. Support local!
Disappointed to discover this particular subway would not accept my EBT Calfresh benefits card. Even though Subway is listed in the hot meals program. If they had, I would have spent more money there. Duh!
Ordered two sandwiches online. They were both on the wrong bread. The chicken bacon ranch had no bacon, cheese, or honey mustard. And the other sandwich didn't have the fresh mozzarella I paid extra for.
