If you're in the Pasadena, Maryland area and looking for a great Subway, I highly recommend the one on Mountain Road next to Pizza City. I've been a regular there for ten years, and I've never had any issues – it's fantastic!
As for this particular location, I know the management personally, and they often leave their employees to manage on their own. They also own another Subway in the Southdale shopping center in Glen Burnie. I'm not sure how that location is doing, but if you're craving subs in the area, I suggest exploring some of the small mom-and-pop shops instead; there are plenty of outstanding options available.
I visited the restaurant with my sibling, and the interaction we had with what seemed to be the owner, who was training a new employee, was EXTREMELY RUDE. I decided to try the new Melts, and when I asked the staff member if she could melt the sandwich before adding the veggies, she flatly refused, claiming it would be "impossible" to open it up after it was melted and toasted. She then placed the sandwich in a paper bag and put it in the oven. As a result, I ended up with a soggy sandwich where only the edges of the bread were toasted, and all the cheese was still cold inside... absolutely TERRIBLE.
This is the worst Subway location in Anne Arundel County. They will cancel your order—even if you have an email confirmation that it’s ready—if you used a coupon or are taking advantage of a promotion like buy one get one free. Furthermore, if you order online, you'll notice they skimp on the meat and overload your sandwich with excessive lettuce and other toppings, making it difficult to even detect the protein. It also seems like this store operates without a supervisor or manager present. I suggest avoiding this location.
This is our favorite subway restaurant. It's clean, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Although it's a bit tucked away in the shopping center, it's definitely worth seeking out. Highly recommended!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant! The service was really bad, and the older couple running it struggled to keep up with mobile orders. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from this Subway!
The chicken teriyaki sub was delicious, with all the ingredients being exceptionally fresh. The Italian bread was enhanced with herbs and had just the right amount of seasoning.
The restaurant was quite clean, and although the smell of fresh paint was a bit off-putting, we soon got used to it. The service was prompt, and the food met our expectations.
I was informed that they would not honor the buy one get one free offer. The sandwiches had very little filling, and the staff struggled to communicate effectively.
