I'm a self proclaimed Subway nerd. Love it, I eat one or two weekly. And I have been to so many subway outlets that even I don't know the count. So, this one was one of the best. I like what they've done to the place, it's spacious and colorful. Very clean too. Service was great, the artist engaged in small talk and made the sub very well. I've an OCD regarding my salads on the sub, but this time it was great. Perfect amount of sauce and nice clean presentation. I think I might switch to being a regular over here. I wanted a quick takeaway lunch and despite the awful sickly sweet smell that comes out of all Subway outlets, went into my local one see what was available. The staff person was friendly and the filling options looked fresh but I have to say I couldn't stay in the shop as the stench was overwhelming. If it is coming from the "fresh baked frozen bread loaves" he highlighted then there must something volatile in the dough ingredients that simply can't be healthy. I walked out without buying lunch. They are good and have nice staff. The place is clean and has been renovated. The only minor issue is that it’s been such a long time that their drinks dispenser has been out of order and you can only get bottled drinks. I drink Lift and they even don’t have that product in their fridge. So every time I go in I have to only get the food without a soft drink.
The chicken sub I received from Subway on Chapel St. was cold and had to be thrown out. I would not recommend ordering from this location. I decided to reorder from the Malvern Subway and my sandwich arrived fresh and warm. However, I was disappointed that no refund was offered for my initial purchase, meaning I had to pay for my lunch twice.

I'm a massive fan of subway but every time I go to this subway the service is so slow. The food is great like every Subway but it's not fast food if you have to wait so long.

Unlike my nightmare rating of Macca's Oak Park, the reason you need to be aware of this
really really small portions. I ordered 2 large salads, not small ones. very disappointed. Id never order subway again.
