What a find! We stumbled across this DC gem by accident and were utterly delighted with the charming ambiance and the extraordinarily friendly people. We were warmly welcomed by the hostess and our server, Marilyn, made us feel like family within moments. The General Manager even took the time to make sure we were being taken care of properly. Now, let’s get down to the food. The chef? Fantastic! You absolutely must try the Scotch eggs as an appetizer. And don’t leave without trying the Brie with fruit nut bread. The combination of sweet and savory was to die for! Oh yes, we will surely be back!

I had the catfish and the lettuce Slave was REALLY salty. So salty that I couldn't eat it. The fish was great. My husband had the shrimps and dimples and the dimples were somehow watery, perhaps because of the additional sauce on the plate (not sure what it was). Last time I had them as a side dish, they were perfect. The banana pudding and hummingbird cakes were both delish!
eating and drinks are good. this trip was before a game. waiting her personal was excellent and even said, do not worry about a thing, I observe that we get her there in a lot of time. I had a fixed place in my rotation from going to tips in penn quarter

The experience was Ok, but not amazing. We may go back, but I’m not sure. We ordered the steak lunch deal and everything was good!
Visiting brunch from the north, our server was amazing, food wasn’t the best and found a piece of the wrapper in my biscuits.
This place is amazing! Can’t go wrong the seabass, salmon, crab cakes, gnocchi all delicious. Try the scotch egg.
