Sugar River Pizza Company Sun Prairie

First time visit and had lunch at Sugar River with a work colleague. Arrived around 11:30 and the place was completely dead with only one other couple in the restaurant. The dining room is one big open area and there was no music playing and the silence was very awkward and you could easily hear other conversations. Servers were friendly and attentive but we couldn't get over how quiet, sparse, and uninviting the place was. Really needs a redesign of the interior space to make this place more inviting and less like a cafeteria. my man and I are here together and come with our teenage daughters. service is always good. many options, huge portions. definitiw enough for a full meal the next day. that's a place where you could say we're common.

we have eaten several times on the sugar river. we even had the surprise of my man's 80th birthday. we have never been disappointed. eating was always good and the service excellent.

The web page made this look really top notch and the reality is average at best. The food tasted good but not enough to outway the other negatives.

Outstanding beer on tap list. Gorgeous table tops Scrabble was a nice touch Pizza was ok but not amazing
