We went on new years eve night since we could not get a table in another Indian restaurant. First, no attendant at the entrance to help with the seating. I stopped a waiter and instead of How can I help you , he asked me Are you looking for something . I said yes, table for 2. Once settled down which was after 10 mins of entering the restaurant, we ordered Chicken 65. Menu is not very promising. We were not sure of the place, or food so thought of ordering only 1 starter first and then more if we are satisfied. This restaurant was truly amazing. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff welcomed us and guided us to our table. The restaurant was perfect for families, and each table had a special button to call the wait staff. The food was incredible, made to order with options for spice level. The service was outstanding. I wish all restaurants were as welcoming and comforting as this one. I highly recommend trying the chili paneer, tandoori wings, spicy chili corn, and the chicken jumps.
I felt it was time for the ladies to give their opinion on Sugar and Spicy. I am definitely going back on my own. I visited the restaurant with my daughters after having a terrible experience at the Regency next door (the men can have that place). We were greeted warmly at Sugar and Spicy and received fantastic recommendations on what to order. We left feeling satisfied and grateful for the excellent service from all the staff. I will definitely be returning soon.

So close to Queensbury station and perfect if you prefer somewhere you don't have to fight to get a seat and more relaxed atmosphere. Yes it is more of a sports bar and yes the decor is not the Ritz but good food and nice friendly staff. Remember this is not a fine dining establishment so don't expect the same. Tried the Chicken 65 which tasted great and not too spicy. Will definitely visit again. I was presently surprised.
I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and finally went with my family a few weeks ago. The food was good, but the only issue was the fish tank in the middle of the restaurant had some dead fish in it. While everyone was eating, only a few of the staff members and the manager started to empty the tank, which was not a pleasant sight to see while I was enjoying my meal.
I recently went to a small birthday party that was eating delicious and the service was excellent! I recommend the restaurant families and groups of friends who seek qualitatiw high quality Indian food at a reasonable price. I love the chili chicken.
Don't go here WITHOUT trying the chicken 65 which will keep u returning again and again. Ask Sarvan' for the special chilli chutney and you simply won't go wrong! Can't get a space at Regency, never mind, walk next door to a totally hidden gem!!
