I recently visited this restaurant with some friends and we ordered family style. We started with roti and curry, crispy vegetable rolls, and Thai spiced corn cakes, which were decent. For the main course, we shared the charred vegetable curry and garlicky chili eggplant with a side of brown rice. The flavors were good and not too spicy. Overall, it was a solid and enjoyable meal with good service. We had a pleasant dining experience at this restaurant.
After sampling several Thai restaurants in the East Bay area, we can confidently say that this one stands out as the best! The Thai cuisine here is incredibly flavorful and the ingredients are always fresh. Don't miss out on trying the Kao Soi! And to top it off, the majority of dishes can be made gluten-free as a bonus.
This place doesn't look unusual, but the person doing the cooking deserves kudos. I've been twice, the second time taking my skeptical husband who ended up agreeing with me that it's the best Thai food we've had in a long time. The pad kee mao and the duck soup were both terrific.
