Sukothai - Table reservation

On a Saturday at late lunchtime, “Sukothai” was still quite crowded. So, we were lucky to find a free table. This is a fairly small and not very beautiful restaurant. However, by colorfully painted walls and some decoration the proprietor had tried to render it...nicely with little money. Unfortunately, several tables are close to the kitchen and hence rather unpleasant. Luckily, our table did not fall into this category. Disturbing for us was the fact that the waiter failed to show up for quite a while. I was here twice, and both of them were great eating. have been living in Thailand for three years, I can say that they are good Thai eating with a basic menu. If they want, they can always get a Thai version, otherwise the spiciness. adapted to the European taste. the waiter is neither welcoming nor very service-maintained. when we were reserved in each table and I had to stop him and ask if we could sit somewhere, otherwise he would just have ignored us. at the order he seems to be rude and I have never seen him smile. when we wanted to share a suppe, we had to pay 1.50 eur per spoon. also, he does not have much attention to the guests, they also have to wait long to order something else o...

Sukothai isn't a restaurant that you walk into and are wowed necessarily, it's just a nice enough place. Their food, however, is fantastic. If you love Thai then there's no better place for it (in Klagenfurt at least). I love their coconut Thai curries especially....Their service is reasonably fast and even if it wasn't, the food would be worth the wait.

if I am not in the mood for something spicy, I enjoy suko thais phad thai gai. next to a plentiful part there are only so many different pleasant textures and aromas. when I started eating Thai food over 30 years ago, a good friend recommended this dish as a little safe for Thai food beginners. I liked it and a iove it at suko thai!

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here.The menu offered a variety of spicy and flavoursome food.We were offered a choice of how hot we would like our dishes.Iced tap water was available and the service was friendly.The waitress spoke some English and seemed keen that we...enjoyed our meal.
