The only food that was good, were the ones that was not cooked (garnishing). Very disappointing given the hype. Very well presented, but there was NO taste, it?s just salty ! We ordered a lot of food but was disappointed in almost everything. Naans were very oily, kofta was too dry but the curry was nice, Hari Mirch chicken chops was just salty, all green the color on chicken was just food color, prawns biryani was soggy and was more like pulav and again too salty. Bhangra drink was nothing but maaza topped with mint?Mumbai vada was not bad, masala chai was chai without masala, it was dip- dip with cardamom aroma, Ambience is really nice, servers are nice too. The food was a total mood kille...
Fantastic food, wonderful ambiance, fast and friendly service. It was hard to get a table by walk-in; I would definitely recommend a reservation before you go. The place is always packed and, in particular, was very busy in the summer. The patio is wonderful. Garlic naan combined with lamb, chicken or veg curries are delicious. Great place to take friends or visitors from out of town (just be sure to make a reservation).
I love Indian food. Can't help it. So while travelling I always look for a good place to eat Indian food. Well, I found one right here on Main Street, Vancouver. I highly recommend it. Great atmosphere, excellent service and tasty food. And for my money so much food that I had to ask for a doggy bag (excuse my French! . That's happiness.
very nice vibe and very friendly staff. I wasn't too hungry when I arrived at the restaurant, but the food smelled really good and tasted even better. We ordered Veg Pakoras, butter chicken, tandoori Murg tikke, and some naan and rice. The cocktails were really tasty as well. Will definitely come back.
